Fortnitemares Scare Zone Announced for Halloween Horror Nights 2026 at Universal Orlando
Universal Orlando Resort has announced that a new "Fortnitemares" scare zone will debut at Halloween Horror Nights 2026. Inspired by the popular video game franchise Fortnite, specifically its annual "Fortnitemares" event, this new addition marks Fortnite's first appearance at the annual Halloween event.
The scare zone will be called "Freaky Fields" and is set to immerse guests in a Halloween-themed battleground. Attendees can expect to encounter familiar Fortnitemares characters, including a Battle Bus, and will be invited to "brace the Storm and survive the scare zone." The new attraction will be featured at Halloween Horror Nights 35 in Universal Studios Florida and is also slated for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood.
The Fortnitemares scare zone will open on August 28, 2026, coinciding with the start of Halloween Horror Nights. This expansion is already generating discussion among fans and adds a new themed experience to the event.
